TOPOHAUS was first established in 2004 at the cultural heart of Seoul in Insadong, followed by the opening of its Suseong-gu, Daegu space in 2023—both designed by architect Jung Jin-kook based on the architectural concept of the “Box of Miracles” (Boîte à miracles). Each exhibition space morphs fluidly to complement the artist’s curatorial vision and the inherent character of the works. Most notably, the main gallery space—graced with an expansive 4.6-meter ceiling and bathed in abundant natural light—allows artworks to evoke shifting moods and dimensions alongside the passage of time and celestial transitions.
TOPOHAUS continuously organizes thoughtfully curated exhibitions that empower both emerging and established Korean artists to unleash their creative potential and realize ambitious projects. Looking beyond the domestic sphere, the gallery is deeply committed to propelling capable Korean talents onto the global stage.
