Located on Art Street in Gung-dong, Gwangju, Gallery Sijak is a space that discovers and creates new possibilities based on local contemporary art.
While discovering and continuously supporting young artists, the gallery also seeks to serve as an open cultural platform where the local and the global meet through active exchange with artists from other regions and abroad.
A place where artists and artworks, collectors and audiences are naturally connected, and where new currents in art begin.
Gallery Sijak aims to broaden and deepen the connections within local contemporary art, contributing to the creation of a new artistic ecosystem in Gwangju with both professionalism and diversity.
