Founded in 1994 on Gwangju’s Art Street, Nine Gallery launched its curatorial journey in 1996 with its inaugural exhibition, 16 Artists in the Nude. Since then, the gallery has remained dedicated to discovering and promoting distinguished talent through an active annual program of curated and invitational exhibitions.
Since 2006, Nine Gallery has participated regularly in prominent international art fairs, continually striving to establish its booth as a captivating destination for collectors and curators alike.
While its initial focus was on discovering promising local artists and integrating them into the broader domestic and international art markets, the gallery has expanded its scope in recent years. Through ambitious, carefully curated projects that transcend regional boundaries, Nine Gallery now actively champions both contemporary Vietnamese artists and established Korean painters renowned for their unique visual languages.
