Since opening its doors in 2015, Midam Gallery in Gwangyang has served as an independent exhibition space dedicated to fostering local artistic growth and expanding public engagement with the arts.
Operating as a cultural platform that bridges regional artists with the broader domestic and international art scenes, the gallery actively supports creative practices and enriches community life through curated exhibitions, invitational showcases, and cross-cultural exchanges.
As an open cultural hub connecting art and society, Midam Gallery presents diverse artistic disciplines to advance the vitality of Gwangyang’s cultural landscape—establishing itself as a vital intersection where the region, its art, and its citizens converge.
