Located in Hwajeong-dong, Jeonnam-Gwangju Special Metropolitan City, Gallery Mital borders a large-scale residential apartment complex. Home to 3,800 households, this area was the largest complex in the city at the time of its development.
The gallery originally opened as a tranquil retreat for busy homemakers—a welcoming space to enjoy a cup of tea, appreciate art, read, and pause for reflection after the morning rush of commutes and school runs.
Today, Gallery Mital continues to contribute meaningfully to enhancing the quality of life for residents of both the newly redeveloped neighborhood and the historic downtown community.
