Since its establishment in 1992, KEUMSAN GALLERY has established itself as one of Korea’s leading galleries, showcasing works across a diverse range of contemporary art genres, including painting, installation, sculpture, new media, photography, and printmaking. The gallery has also been at the forefront of introducing Korean contemporary art to the global stage.
KEUMSAN GALLERY actively fosters international cultural exchange while discovering promising artists and serving as a springboard for their entry into the global market. By presenting these artists at major art fairs across Asia, Europe, the Americas, and beyond, the gallery continues to champion Korean contemporary art internationally.
In 2019, the gallery expanded its vision by opening the Guryongpo Art Factory, a dedicated exhibition space for young Asian artists. Through its residency program, the Factory functions as a dynamic art platform that enriches the local cultural landscape and contributes to the broader development of arts and culture, with a special focus on new media.
