Godam Art Center is dedicated to presenting exhibitions and producing art-related products.
The center has presented Hwang Soon-chil’s exhibition of Korea’s ancient plum blossoms, featuring works inspired by the pink plum blossoms of Gimhae in Gyeongsang Province, the red plum blossoms of Hwaeomsa Temple in Jeollanam-do, and the ancient Gobulmae plum tree of Baegyangsa Temple. The exhibition included large-scale works created on site from late winter through spring. The center has also presented exhibitions featuring works inspired by the Thousand Buddhas and Thousand Pagodas of Unjusa Temple.
