For over a decade, Ceragrim has served as a foundational platform providing exhibition and studio spaces for students majoring in ceramic arts.

As an integrated art space where creation, firing, and exhibition take place collaboratively, Ceragrim fosters an environment of spontaneous dialogue between artists and the public. In recent years, it has continuously presented curated exhibitions focused on ceramic painting and contemporary craft.

In particular, Ceragrim is establishing a distinct artistic realm that blends the heritage of traditional ceramics with contemporary painterly sensibilities. This approach centers on ceramic paintings depicting blue peonies and blue lotuses, alongside its proprietary “brushless smoke-infusion technique” (Mupilyeonchim-gipeop).

By expanding the boundaries between craft and painting, exhibition and education, Ceragrim’s blue peony ceramic painting seeks to propose fresh possibilities for contemporary ceramic art.
