Located in the Omotesando district of Tokyo, Gallery BOOK LAYER was established in 2011 with the goal of vitalizing exchanges within the East Asian art market. In 2021, the gallery transitioned from its former name, Gallery CAUTION, to its current identity as Gallery BOOK LAYER. The gallery curates distinctive exhibitions that bridge art with books, architecture, and design, and has hosted numerous solo exhibitions for Korean artists since its inception.
