GalleryM is a warm and welcoming art space in Gwangyang that centers its exhibitions and archives around the works of the family artist duo, Jung Hyun-young and Kim Doo-yeop, who represent the region. Aiming to be an open cultural space where everyone can comfortably enjoy art, the gallery offers participatory programs that make art more accessible and engaging. As a “small haven in everyday life” where citizens and art naturally come together, Gallery M is establishing itself as a new cultural hub in Gwangyang. Furthermore, it seeks to explore new directions for growth in collaboration with talented artists from the Honam region.
