Located inside the Godang Art Center in Geoje, “Yes.sum” was established in 2009 and is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. It has been dedicated to regular exhibitions and discovering local artists. In 2024, the sculptor Wonsik Cheon (former president of the Gyeongsangnam-do Fine Arts Association) joined the team, moving to Godang Art Center. They are actively leading residence programs, fostering the development of Geoje’s art culture, and supporting the discovery and nurturing of young local artists as well as established artists. Currently, they have 10 members, including 6 resident artists in areas such as Western painting, Korean painting, and sculpture from the Gyeongsangnam-do region.
